International sanctions
The UN Security Council, OFAC (United States) and UK sanctions lists, refreshed throughout the day.
Confidence in every check.
VerityScan helps your team check the partners, suppliers and people you work with, fairly and quickly, against the lists that matter across Africa and the world. So you can keep your focus on the communities you serve.
Five free searches. No card needed. Results are decision support, not legal clearance.
Built around your work
Due diligence in African nonprofits rarely sits with a compliance department. It sits with a programme officer, a finance lead or an executive director who is already doing three jobs. VerityScan is built for them.
No compliance training needed. Plain language, clear next steps, and a second pair of eyes built into every decision.
Light pages that load on mid-range Android phones and slow connections, so screening never waits for good Wi-Fi.
Plans sized for NPO budgets that fit a grant budget line, with no bank-sized licence fees.
English and French today, with Portuguese, Kiswahili and Arabic on the way. Names in any script are welcome.
Built on FATF Recommendation 8: risk-based checks on partners, and beneficiary screening off unless you choose it.
One clear certificate for each check, with what was searched, who decided and why, ready to share with funders and banks.
African names
Global tools are tuned for European names and miss the people they should find, or flag the wrong ones. VerityScan understands how names work across the continent.
Every match shows exactly why it matched, in plain language, so your team can decide with confidence.

A partner can be cleared internationally and still be listed at home. VerityScan checks both, and keeps the data clean.

How it works

Yes, that is central to VerityScan. International lists and development bank debarments are live today, and national lists such as Kenya's are being added country by country. The Sources page always shows exactly what is covered and when it was last updated.
VerityScan recognises spelling variants such as Mohamed, Mohammed and Mohamud, reads Arabic and Ge'ez scripts, handles surname-first order, Somali and Ethiopian naming, and titles such as Alhaji, Mzee and Sheikh. Every match explains why it matched.
VerityScan is developed and operated by DaySeven Holdings (Kenya) Limited, part of DaySeven Group. It is built and maintained by a team of African engineers, data specialists and compliance practitioners with more than ten years' experience delivering systems for African organisations.
No. Results are decision support. The platform finds and explains potential matches; your team decides, and every decision is documented and reviewed by a second person.
Recommendation 8 asks for risk-based, proportionate measures for non-profits. It does not treat NPOs or beneficiaries as suspects. Screening your partners proportionately, and recording why, is what it expects.
Your organisation remains the data controller and we act as your processor. Names are never sent to analytics, and trial searches are deleted after 90 days.
